Cyanotype: Working With Digital Negatives

Spend the day at RMP learning how to turn your own digital images into cyanotype photo prints and collages. Learn how to edit your images and practice expert tricks on printing them as transparent negatives. Experiment with compositions using collage, layering, drawing and painting techniques while printing on both paper and fabric. Play with local plants as well as objects form the scrap yard. At the end of the day, you will come away with an assortment of finished art prints as well as the knowledge to confidently print cyanotype photos at home. Students will need to come to class with a group of digital images to work with. Laptops suggested but not required.

All materials provided. Class size limited to 8 people, ages 16 and up.
