A two-day class where you’ll learn the basics of improvisational patchwork and create your very first quilt! Over the course of two days, we’ll explore the radical histories of quilt making, learn how to use a sewing machine to create beautiful, improvised patchwork, and assemble the layers to make a crib-size quilt.
Students will supply their own fabrics, batting and thread, a sewing machine and scissors. Class size is limited to 6 students. Children over 16 are allowed with an adult.
